Ever since the 1770s, the idyllic Refsnes Gods has been at the center of sociability. The place's beautiful location on the west side of Jeløy towards the Oslo fjord, and the magnificent landscape have attracted many of the time's famous people and great artists such as Edward Munch, Peder Balke and many more. At Godset there are around 400 works by both new and well-established artists. At Godset there is a restaurant, meeting rooms, a fantastic garden and one of Norway's largest wine cellars. The hotel has its own guest pier and can offer a refreshing experience on the fjord all year round!
