This patrimonial domain is full of history... Around 1750, the owner of the place, Mr. Croiset, exploited the quarry to extract yellow ochre which became the pigment for oil paints. Around 1871, the beautiful factory was destroyed, but two centuries later, the building which served as a common, will know other successes! In the 1960's, the Croiset-Parquin descendants did some renovations, the house belonged to the couple Robert Gall, lyricist for Edith Piaf, Aznavour, Marie Laforêt, Hugues Aufray, Francis Lai... and Cécile Berthier. They are the parents of a wax doll, sound doll, France Gall who won the Eurovision in 1965... It is thus an ochre factory 'charged' with an industrial and musical past! Today, this large building has a new lease of life with its guest rooms that look like galleries, its park, its workshops and its events. Treat yourself to a stay in spacious and refined surroundings that will charm you. Welcome to the Domaine de l'Ocrerie.
