On the southern tip of Gotland, in Storsudret where the landscape opens toward the sea, lies Grå Gåsen. A boutique hotel with twelve rooms – that shift in character with the seasons. A meeting in a home – not in a conference facility. During summer, we are a lively hotel with open doors, a restaurant, and guests coming and going. The rest of the year, the place becomes something else: yours. Many rent the entire hotel during this time – one group at a time – for meetings, weddings, or weekends where you want to be together without sharing the experience with others. The rooms are individually decorated and distinct in character, with views either toward the sea or the garden. The garden is large and vibrant – with a pool, sauna, and hot tubs used just as readily for relaxation as for conversations that are allowed to take their time. The restaurant is rooted in Gotland and the season. During summer, it is a natural part of the stay. The rest of the year, it takes shape around the guests who are here – sometimes as dinner, sometimes as part of a larger context. Many will recognise the barn from Så mycket bättre. For us, it is above all a space for experiences – concerts, dinners, and gatherings that don't quite fit in an ordinary conference room.
