Hotel with long traditions Gloppen Hotell has its roots back to 1829. It was salmon fishing for English salmon orders that was the starting point for the operation of Joakim E. Siversten in the first years. The hotel family Sivertsen ran the hotel for 5 generations before Moen took over and later bought the hotel. Today, the hotel is run by the 2nd generation Moen. Moen has restored the hotel back in time and focuses on local food. The hotel has its own production kitchen which makes it possible to receive goods from local farmers, fishermen and hunters. The hotel also produces its own beer. The hotel consists of 60 hotel rooms, a restaurant, meeting rooms and a pub / inn. To this day, the hotel is known for offering salmon and sea trout fishing in the Gloppenelva.
